12 Days of Christmas Day 10: Candy Cane Lane

Hello, there. As Christmas is drawing near (2 more days!) I always love to drive around and see the holiday decorations that people put up outside. Well, I’ve found that some neighborhoods are hit-and-miss, in that some homes are decorated and others are completely bare. However, there is one neighborhood that is always decorated, from top to bottom. 12 Days Day 10 Blog Graphic

This neighborhood transforms into Candy Cane Lane, and all the homes are aglow with lights and other trimmings. This little stretch of Park Road, in Ravenna, has been creating this elaborate holiday display since 1949, and still brings bumper-to-bumper traffic to this day. If you get a chance, I highly recommend you visit the street. Perhaps it will provide you inspiration and motivation for next year!

Price: Free!

Local Trick: I highly recommend trying to find somewhere to park, and then walking through Candy Cane Lane. You just won’t get the full experience in the car.

Location: Candy Cane Ln, Seattle, WA 98105

Dates/Times: December 6-31, from 4:00 – 11:00 pm (open until midnight on Christmas Eve & Christmas Day)
