How To Pair… Sequin Pants and Midi Skirt

Hello, there. Well, I have now been living in Orlando, Florida for 9 days. It’s been a bit crazy, but my roommates are wonderful and working for “The Mouse” has been a lovely experience thus far!

Before I left Seattle, I decided that the ‘temporary goodbye’ to my rainy city should be documented. So, I enlisted one of my best friends (coincidentally a photographer, therefore inserting a shameless plug for her here) to take pictures of me around town. After collaborating on the overall look I was going for, we concurred that the photoshoot should be centered around fashion. More specifically, I wanted to focus on 2 articles of clothing- a pair of gold-sequined pants and a pale pink, structured midi skirt.

You see, dear reader, I have been trying to wear these two statement pieces, but it has been difficult! I usually create outfits based on inspiration I’ve found on Pinterest, however, I couldn’t find very many varieties of outfits that incorporated similar-style clothing! Deciding that I should try to come up with some myself, the downtown photoshoot provided the perfect opportunity to display my outfit findings against the metropolitan background.

First up is the sequin pants…

    1. Thank you thank you! Haha it took me quite a while to figure those outfits out! And I’ve been lusting after both the pants and skirt for so long, but when I finally got them I couldn’t figure out how to wear them! I’m so glad to hear you like the outfits.
